Recognized globally, particularly by the United Nations Industrial Development Organization (UNIDO), Kennedy’s expertise encompasses economic policy, investment promotion, and regional development.
Currently serving as UNIDO’s National Consultant on County Aggregation and Industrial Parks development, Kennedy has left an indelible mark on Kenya’s economic landscape. He successfully introduced and implemented the UNIDO Sub-Contracting and Partnership Exchange (SPX) Programme in Kenya, now managed by the Kenya Investment Authority.
Kennedy’s public service career includes pivotal roles at the Kenya Tourist Board and Kenya Investment Authority. He was instrumental in developing Kenya’s Vision 2030, the country’s long-term economic development blueprint, working alongside Mckinsey & Company. His innovative approach led to the creation of over 40 multi-sectoral investment projects and pioneered the concept of regional investment forums in Kenya.

He has also made substantial contributions to pan-African initiatives, including the conceptualization of the Infrastructure Fund Africa-2020 for the African Union.
